Montana Violin Maker

Jeremiah J. Senner

Now located in Butte!

Welcome to my site! I enjoy making violins, and learning about the craft. Yours truly :)I have made 21 instruments since June 1995.

As well as making violins, I play the violin as a hobby, for my own and other people's enjoyment. I've been taking violin lessons very irregularly since June 1995, and I think I've had 21 lessons in all, so far. What I've done that really made a difference in learning to play was simply practice, alot! The varnish drying on my 16th violin

Note: I don't advise trying to teach yourself how to play the violin unless you have some violin lessons right from the start to help avoid bad playing habits! I think that the violin is one of the hardest and most un-natural instruments to try and learn to play!

I have been a student at the "Trees breath school of violin making" learning from master violin maker Paul Hart. It was a terrific learning experience and I am very glad to have had the opportunity to study there.

I repair violins for Lundin's Violins  in Coeur D'Alene ID. I continue to make new instruments as well.

E-mail me at jsenner@hotmail.com if you would like to know more about my violins and violin making.
